Using Google Analytics

ACP users can easily start sending events to Google Analytics. The ultra cool part about this is we already set this up for you. If you aren’t familiar with setting up google analytics you can look at this starter article on google.

So what tracking events is ACP going to send?

ACP will send the following events:

  1. “Loaded” – This event will be sent with the name of the tool that was loaded
  2. “Clicked” – This event will send with the name of the tool that was clicked with the information about what was clicked inside the event_label property.
    1. You may see something like this
      1. Event Name: Clicked
      2. Event Category: Tool name ex Class Calendar
      3. Event Label: Filter | Age | 5 (This is what was clicked with specific information)

Ok, So How do I add it?

The cool part about this is all you need to do is turn it on.

Pretty simple, huh?
